Sara Robinson Band is truly a return to the legend of Rock and Roll. SRB has developed a unique, yet familiar sound by mixing the best of the old and the new. Sara’s stage presence is hypnotic, counter balanced by Yod’s killer chaotic guitar while PC and Stan hold it all together on the bass and
drums. It is inevitable that you will feel every song that they play, in the deepest parts of your soul. The band is comprised of Sara on vocals, Yod on guitar, PC on bass and Stan on drums. Each member has had great success along their musical journeys and their collective talents definitely make for a super group. The
love and excitement between Sara Robinson Band is apparent, and it is only the beginning for this talented up and coming phenomenon.
If I Cannot Fly, Let Me Sing is the title of SRB’s debut album. Seven amazingly epic and deeply felt, masterfully recorded songs available on vinyl, CD, and digital in May 2017. Beautifully recorded vocals and powerful guitars over huge drums and bass define the sound captured by Bob Hoag at Flying Blanket Recording, Mesa, AZ. One of the Phoenix valley’s most prominent producers, Bob captured a rare moment in music history. Their original sound is strangely familiar as you will sometimes place the influence of Zeppelin or Gladys or Jimi but can’t say for sure what influence you are hearing because it’s twisted and modern. Muse is a four minute heavy rocker that seems made for radio. Love Love is an epic orchestrated master piece while Moon Song pulls a tear from more than a few listeners. Only home is a great representation of SRB's first collection of songs that would eventually give them an idea of who they would start to become sonically together, as Sara Robinson Band. Their first album was a beautiful combination of songs already written within each individual members past. "Only Home" is the powerful Swamp - Rock album comprised of all songs written by all of SRB collectively. Stan recorded and produced this album to perfection. "Only Home" was something Sara had said, and the band agreed. "This band, this music with them, feels like home.. and even though we love our own homes and family, music is something that bonds us in a special way, our only home.
